Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized perioperative nursing care in a 26-bed Level One Trauma Center operating room.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams managing trauma and specialty cases such as cardiac, thoracic, vascular, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries.
- Maintain patient safety and manage complex surgical cases using advanced surgical equipment (Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot).
- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient care coordination.
- Participate in scheduled call rotations and provide trauma call support as required.
- Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience with Level 1 trauma competency.
- CNOR certification preferred.
- Skilled in robotics-assisted surgery and a spectrum of GU/GYN operative procedures.
- Demonstrated flexibility, accountability, punctuality, and strong teamwork orientation.
- Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed; includes 3x12-hour shifts and 1:4 weekend rotation
- Call: One overnight trauma call per week (11:00 PM 7:00 AM), specialty team call schedules may vary.
- Duration: 13 weeks
