Surgical Tech in Montgomery, AL

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures by passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants
• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout all phases of the surgical procedure
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts to ensure patient safety
• Support post-operative procedures, including patient transfers and cleaning of surgical suites
• Participate in quality assurance and infection control processes
