Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for post-operative patients transferred from PACU or SICU
- Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips to assess cardiac status
- Administer medications using automated dispensing systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, providing critical interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience
- Essential: Surgical Stepdown and IMCU/Stepdown expertise
- Proven ability to independently interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Successful completion of Telemetry and Critical Care Medication tests on Day 1
- Experience with automated medication dispensing systems
- Must have completed more than one previous travel assignment
- Preferred: Experience in a tertiary care facility treating complex surgical patients
Schedule
- Evening shifts, 12 hours each
- 36 hours per week covering nights, every other weekend (EOW), and every other holiday (EOH)
