Requirements
- Active NC Pharmacist License in hand
- Pharmacist experience required
- Retail pharmacists welcome
- Willingness to learn PV1 and PV2 workflows
- Review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications
- Verify prescriptions and ensure medication safety
- Provide medication counseling and answer drug-related questions
- Monitor medication use and identify potential drug-related issues
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Maintain medication inventory and pharmacy records
- Follow applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays
- 13-week contract with potential permanent placement
