A night shift pharmacist opportunity is available at a 200-bed community hospital in Indiana. This role requires a qualified pharmacist to support the hospital’s pharmacy operations during overnight hours, ensuring safe and effective medication management for patients.
Responsibilities Include
- Verifying medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Supervising pharmacy technicians and workflow
- Performing pharmacokinetic assessments and dosage adjustments
- Consulting with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
- Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- A current Indiana pharmacist license
- Experience working in a hospital setting
- The ability to work night shifts (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Contract assignment, six months in duration with potential for temp-to-hire
- Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (night shift)
