Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education by phone, covering new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper medication use
• Collaborate with prescribers and their offices to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues delaying dispensing
• Review and clinically verify prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, drug interactions, contraindications, and accurate dosing
• Conduct pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a closed-door fulfillment environment, ensuring accuracy of drug, dose, quantity, and labeling prior to dispensing
• Support pharmacy management staff with receiving, processing, and transferring patient prescriptions, owning the transfer process to completion
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania, in good standing
• 0-6 years of pharmacy experience, ideally in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy environments; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
