Staff Pharmacist - Evansville, Indiana

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An immediate need exists for a full-time Pharmacist to support a newly established 340B pharmacy at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Evansville, Indiana. This position is a 13-week contract to hire, covering a maternity leave starting in January, with the potential for permanent placement working three days per week alongside the returning pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final medication review and checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide patient counseling as required
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee daily operations
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth workflow
  
  

Qualifications

• Active, clear Indiana pharmacist license is required
• Experience with 340B pharmacy operations is highly preferred
• Open to new graduates eager to grow and learn
• Familiarity or willingness to train in PioneerRX software system
  
  

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No holidays or weekend shifts
