This on-site role is based in San Francisco, CA, providing specialized Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services within a dynamic school setting. The position focuses exclusively on pre-K intake assessments and requires a licensed, experienced SLP to cover Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) absence at Ortega Elementary through June 3, 2026. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support early childhood communication development within a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-K intake speech-language assessments.
• Deliver individualized supports and intervention recommendations based on assessment outcomes.

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license from the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) is required.
• Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience delivering speech therapy services in a school environment, specifically with pre-K populations.
• Candidates must be fully licensed; Clinical Fellows (CF) will not be considered.
• Preference for bilingual candidates or those fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
