Speech Therapist in Cumming, GA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide maternity leave coverage in the northern Atlanta area, serving elementary school students. This opportunity is based onsite within a school setting located in Cumming, GA, with assignments at one location either in Acworth or Woodstock. The contract runs from early to mid-March through the end of the school year on May 22, 2026. This role is ideal for professionals holding active GA DOE certification and GA SLP licensure who enjoy working with young learners in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student goals
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district policies
• Provide maternity leave coverage through the end of the school year
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Department of Education (DOE) Certification
• Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
• Experience working with elementary school students preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• No SLPA applications will be considered for this role
  
  

Position Details

• Location: Northern Atlanta area, onsite in Cumming, GA
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• Contract Length: Early to mid-March through May 22, 2026
• Caseload: Elementary age group at one school site

Compensation aligns with experience, ranging approximately from $52 to $64 per hour.
