An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. This role focuses on enhancing patients communication abilities and safe swallowing to improve their quality of life.

Location: Wisconsin Dells, WI

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting thorough assessments and providing direct therapy for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Completing detailed patient documentation such as evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Coordinating with insurance providers to verify coverage and benefits
• Preparing thoroughly for each evaluation and treatment session
• Educating interdisciplinary staffincluding nurses, physicians, dietitians, and food service personnelon patient care recommendations and current research findings
• Developing and delivering in-service educational presentations to staff
• Collaborating closely with healthcare team members to ensure holistic, patient-centered care
• Maintaining clean and organized treatment environments
• Managing patient communications, including reminder calls and assistance navigating hospital processes
  
  

Desired Experience And Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Proven expertise in assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders within a hospital setting
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
