Speech Pathology - Piedmont, AL

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed in Piedmont, AL. This position is a contract role within an educational setting, offering the opportunity to support students with communication disorders and contribute to their academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
• Provide consultation and training to staff and families on communication strategies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience working in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
