Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in West Hartford, CT

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support K-12 students across multiple buildings in a school district located in West Hartford, CT. This contract assignment spans a full academic semester, beginning ASAP through June 9, 2026, with a caseload primarily consisting of elementary and middle school students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language support services to students in 2-3 school buildings.
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Document student progress and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain compliance with district policies, including completing required background checks and fingerprinting.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Connecticut.
• Prior school-based experience working with K-12 students.
• Must have completed all required district fingerprinting and background checks.
• Credentialed candidates will be given priority during the selection process.
