Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - North Little Rock, AR

A Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in North Little Rock, AR, serving elementary, middle, and high school students. This opportunity involves addressing a diverse range of speech and language needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), articulation, and general speech delays, with a caseload of approximately 45 students.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to manage mixed caseloads involving various speech and communication disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and educational staff
• Flexibility to work across elementary, middle, and high school levels

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress regularly
• Provide direct therapy services tailored to the needs of students with ASD, articulation difficulties, and other speech-related challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
• Monitor and adjust interventions to maximize student outcomes
