Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Kansas SLP license (CF considered; SLPAs not accepted)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-age students, a plus
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, evaluation, and delivering individualized therapy
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Organizational skills to manage a full caseload and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and conduct evaluations for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate case notes and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines
- Manage scheduling efficiently, splitting time between two school sites as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective interventions
