Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hayward, CA

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Hayward, CA, offering a contract role designed to make an impactful difference in the lives of students with autism. This role supports a K-12 population, providing specialized speech and language services for approximately 25-30 students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students communication needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and administration to support student progress
• Monitor and document student outcomes consistently to meet school and state requirements

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working as an SLP in healthcare and school settings
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for supporting students with autism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff

Schedule And Work Environment

• Contract position aligning with the school calendar, totaling 213 school days remaining
• Standard work hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• One remote workday per month
