Key Qualifications & Experience
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification.
- Experience or strong comfort with early childhood (pre-K) and school-based settings preferred.
- Solid understanding of IEP development and management.
- Skilled in conducting assessments, providing direct services, and monitoring student progress toward measurable goals.
- Experience supervising or assisting SLPAs is highly valued.
- Preference for those with ELL training or an ESL/LDE endorsement.
- Deliver speech and language services within an intensive Pre-K classroom or a K-8 environment.
- Collaborate with educators and families to create supportive, goal-oriented IEPs for students.
- Implement assessment plans and document progress for individual students.
- May assist in the supervision and mentorship of SLPAs.
- Foster effective communication strategies to support English Language Learners (ELL) and students with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
