Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments for students of diverse backgrounds
- Design and carry out individualized therapy plans that address speech, articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language services within the school environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student’s progress
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to objective goal setting
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliant documentation
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New York State SLP licensure in good standing
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Will consider Clinical Fellows (CFY), based on district approval
- Previous experience in schools is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
