Speech Language Pathologist in Oxnard, CA

A school is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite support at an elementary school located in Oxnard, CA. This contract position runs through the current school year, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals with SLP, SLP-School, or SLP-CCC credentials to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in a preschool environment.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each student's unique communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and integrate therapy goals within classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide direct onsite therapy from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, ensuring consistent service delivery to meet student needs.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), with credentials such as SLP-School or CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators and families.

• Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM 3:45 PM.
