Speech Language Pathologist in Napa, CA

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Napa, CA, serving a K-12 public school setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to support young learners during a crucial stage of their development.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students, managing a caseload of approximately 25-35 children.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders to promote effective communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; candidates licensed out of state must be willing to apply for California licensure.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings is highly desirable.
