Speech Language Pathologist in Goshen, IN

Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students' communication needs for a long-term assignment. A passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to serve a caseload of 41 students from September 14th through March 1st, 2027. If you are an SLPA, you are welcome to apply as long as a supervising SLP can be arranged. This contract position also involves working with 1-2 students at an alternative education center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and evidence-based interventions.
• Complete comprehensive assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings to support collaborative student progress.
• Provide occasional services for select students at a nearby alternative education center, adapting approaches as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation and communication with teachers, families, and colleagues to ensure consistency in care.
• Engage, motivate, and inspire students to achieve their communication goals throughout the academic year.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and participate actively in school-related professional activities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an accredited SLPA program.
• Active Indiana licensure as an SLP (CCC strongly preferred) or SLPA.
• For SLPA candidates, willingness to coordinate with an available supervising SLP.
• Experience working in a K-12 school setting or similar pediatric environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of student needs and educational settings.
