Speech-Language Pathologist in Aurora, IL

A school-based opportunity for a full-time Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (English/Spanish) serving K-12 students in multiple early childhood and elementary school settings within the Chicago area. This position requires support for speech and language services across various assigned schools, with a focus on evaluation and intervention.

Location: Aurora, IL (Chicago Area)

Duration: Contract through the current school year, starting ASAP until May 20, 2026

Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bilingual speech-language pathology services to students across multiple school sites, which may include early childhood and elementary programs.
• Conduct evaluations and deliver therapy tailored to individual student needs.
• Manage caseloads effectively, coordinating services between assigned schools.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain required documentation and comply with district policies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement.
• Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
• New graduates (CFs) are encouraged to apply if supervised as required.

• Caseload and assignments will vary; multiple school sites may be assigned to equal full-time.
• This is an on-site role; remote work (VOCO) is not available.
