Speech Language Pathologist in Aurora, IL

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to serve multiple school locations within the Aurora, IL area, supporting K-12 students across various settings. This contract position runs from ASAP through approximately May 28, 2025, with specific end dates depending on assignments. The role offers full-time hours (around 37.5 hours per week) and the opportunity to impact student communication development in diverse educational environments.

Locations Include:

• Two classrooms at a High School in Villa Park, IL
• One classroom at a High School in Addison, IL
• Intermediate School in Westmont, IL
• Elementary School in Downers Grove, IL
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students across assigned schools
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to create effective intervention plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies
• Engage in assessments to determine speech and language needs
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Endorsement
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
