Speech and Language Pathologist - Augusta, GA

An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic school district in Augusta, GA. This full-time contract position runs through May 29, 2026, with an expected start as soon as possible. The role involves working a 37.5-hour week, Monday through Friday, serving elementary, middle, and high school students.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students across multiple school sites
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students communication needs
• Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and regulatory requirements
• Collect and maintain accurate data to monitor student progress and treatment effectiveness
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to enhance student outcomes
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Must hold a valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license
• Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
• Experience working as an SLP in educational settings with K-12 students
• Strong skills in therapy delivery, evaluation, and IEP development
• Comfortable working onsite at multiple school locations; hybrid schedule with three days onsite and two days virtual available
