- Valid certification in Special Education (state credentials required)
- Proven experience or a strong practicum background as a Special Education Teacher in K-12 settings
- Familiarity with creating and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Strong communication skills and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Develop and deliver differentiated instruction aligned with students’ unique IEP goals
- Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate academic, social, and behavioral progress
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student development
- Adapt classroom materials and strategies to meet diverse learning needs
