This role supports diverse classrooms within the Charleston County School District, including specialized settings for students with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

- Delivering individualized instruction and support for students with special needs across multiple classroom settings, including Low Incidence and Intensive Developmental Support classrooms
- Collaborating with intervention specialists, a Behavior Technician, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement effective behavior and educational plans
- Managing a caseload of students ranging from early childhood through secondary education (K-12)
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation of educational and behavioral goals
- Adapting instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of students diagnosed with ASD and other intellectual disabilities
- Active South Carolina Special Education teaching license; Multi-Categorical licensure preferred
- Proven experience working with students with intellectual disabilities and ASD within a classroom setting
- Strong behavior management skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work full-time (Monday through Friday) and adapt to various school settings across the North Charleston and West Ashley areas, as well as Liberty Hill Academy
