Key Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Kansas Special Education teaching license (required)
• Experience working with middle school students in a resource classroom or similar setting
• Strong understanding of mild disabilities and differentiated instruction strategies
• Excellent classroom management, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Comfortable working onsite full-time throughout the contract term
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, adapted instruction that aligns with IEP goals and curriculum standards
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, staff, and parents to foster student success
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and services
