Special Education Teacher - Greensburg, PA

A special education teaching opportunity is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) program supporting Autistic Support classrooms at both the elementary and secondary levels. This onsite position is based in McMurray, PA, running from June 18, 2026, through July 17, 2026, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with autism spectrum disorders in both elementary and secondary classrooms
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure a supportive learning environment
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records
• Uphold all state and federal guidelines regarding special education services
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certificate
• Experience working with students with autism in educational settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
