Special Ed Teacher | Reading, Pennsylvania

This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Special Education Teacher with experience working in elementary school settings. The position involves a full-time commitment for a full semester, providing instruction and support to a 3rd through 5th grade caseload. The role includes writing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure each student's unique learning needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs in grades 3-5
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with students, families, and educational teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Participate in meetings and contribute to educational planning for students with disabilities
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly grades 3-5
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance requirements
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and service providers

Location and Schedule:

• Elementary school setting located in Reading, PA
• Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week (8:20 AM 3:50 PM)
