Responsibilities Include
- Delivering one period of resource support focused on individualized skill development
- Providing co-taught or push-in instruction for 3-4 periods, collaborating with general education staff
- Managing a caseload of 9 students directly, while servicing 15-17 students primarily in reading and writing
- Implementing tailored lesson plans aligned with Special Education standards and student IEPs
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction to meet evolving needs
- Valid Rhode Island teaching license and certification in Special Education
- Willingness to obtain a National Background Check Identification (BCI)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to support co-teaching models
