Special Ed Teacher - Littleton, Colorado

A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available in the Denver area, focusing on supporting students with diverse learning needs. This position offers roles in multiple schools, including a center-based Affective Needs program at an elementary school, a Learning Specialist role at a K-8 school, and a Specialized Life Skills (SLS) position working with autism at an elementary campus. The contract runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to students with affective needs, autism, and other disabilities.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to foster growth in academic, social, and life skills areas.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in regular team meetings to monitor student progress.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the varied needs of students across the assigned schools.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Active Colorado Department of Education Special Education certification required.
• Experience working in special education settings preferred; candidates with 0-10 years are welcome.
