What It Takes To Succeed In This Role

• Valid Special Education certification in Pennsylvania (or currently teaching with an Emergency Permit while enrolled in a Special Ed program)
• Experience working with moderate to severe disabilities, including behavioral support
• Ability and commitment to work all required days and hours: June 23, 2025 – July 30, 2026, Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-3:00pm
• Reliable transportation; must reside within 35 minutes of a school site
• Preparedness to provide documentation: active license or permit proof of enrollment, a supervisor reference (not coworker), resume with bullet-point highlights, and city of residence
• Understanding of and comfort with the PA DOE credentialing process (approximate timeline: 14 days)
• Commitment to full attendance and punctuality throughout the ESY program
• Minimum one-year separation from prior assignments with this client through other agencies
  
  

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver individualized special education services to assigned students
• Collaborate with team members to address IEP goals, manage classroom behaviors, and foster a positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and support staff
• Attend teacher orientation and set-up days (June 23-25, 2026) before instruction begins
• Flexibly adapt to classroom assignments and site placements based on student needs, with locations in Levittown, Fallsington, and Bensalem
