Spanish Special Ed Teacher | Anoka, Minnesota

This full-time Special Education teaching position is based in Anoka, MN, supporting students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a Setting 3 classroom. The role is a contract position for the 2026-2027 school year, starting August 31, 2026, and concluding June 4, 2027. You will serve a caseload of approximately 6 to 10 students, providing tailored instruction and support designed to meet their unique learning needs.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Delivering specialized education plans and interventions to students with DCD and ASD
• Collaborating with school staff, families, and related service providers to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress and adapting instruction to facilitate academic and social growth
• Maintaining required documentation and compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and autism support
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid teaching license with ASD or DCD endorsement (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only)
• Proven experience working in special education environments, especially with Setting 3 classrooms
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus and beneficial for communicating with diverse student populations
