Social Worker in Eden Prairie, MN

A licensed School Social Worker position is available for a temporary contract in Eden Prairie, MN, covering an FMLA leave from early April to early May 2026. This onsite role supports a student population of approximately 220 from grades 3 through 12, providing essential social, emotional, and behavioral services to enhance student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services tailored to students with diverse social, emotional, or behavioral needs
• Address challenges impacting academic achievement through individualized support
• Fulfill special education due process duties, including serving as an administrative designee on IEP teams
• Facilitate student meetings and social skills groups, document notes, and complete required due process paperwork
• Collaborate closely with staff, families, and administration to create a supportive educational environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in education or a related field
• Valid School Social Worker license issued by the state education department
• Prior experience working in school settings preferred

This temporary position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact during a critical leave period within a supportive school community. The caseload currently includes 23 direct service students, with two additional students joining after spring break, totaling 43 students with IEP services.
