Schedules range from full-time (35 hours/week) to flexible part-time options, with most assignments involving only 1–2 sites. Qualifications
- Active Florida SLP license required
- Preference for ASHA CCCs; SLPAs considered with appropriate supervision
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Experience with autism spectrum disorders, EBD, VE, and InD populations highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working on-site with other SLPs and team members
- Fingerprinting required (may be expedited via Department of Health records)
- Provide speech-language and communication therapy services to assigned student caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other SLPs to optimize services and student outcomes
- Document interventions and track student progress per district protocols
- Support a positive, inclusive school environment
