SLP in Passaic, NJ

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school-based contract position in Passaic, NJ, serving students from PreK through 8th grade, with a primary focus on ages 3 to 8 years old. This role offers an engaging opportunity to support the communication development of a diverse caseload of 25 students while working within a structured school schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students across PreK to 8th grade.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions focused on improving students' communication skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist with compliance to state and federal guidelines.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Experience working in a school setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with young children aged 3-8 years old.
  
  

Position Details

• Start Date: May 1st
• End Date: Mid to late October 2026, with optional summer work available.
• Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
