School Speech Pathology | Kannapolis, North Carolina

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in a K-12 school located in Kannapolis, NC. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The caseload includes elementary and middle school students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students
• Conduct evaluations and assessments for speech and language concerns
• Write and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Adhere to all school policies and state regulations
• Provide onsite services only; remote work is not available for this position
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on school-based practice
• Licensure with Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience providing speech therapy services in K-12 educational settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a caseload involving elementary and middle school students effectively
