Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure consistent communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide valuable input regarding student communication needs
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid licensure or certification to practice in a school setting
- Experience providing speech-language services in schools, demonstrating familiarity with educational regulations and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual student needs
