What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid and active Maryland SLP licensure (must provide images of credentials upon request)
- CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFYs also welcomed (supervision provided for interview and onboarding)
- At least one year of school-based experience, or exceptional alternative references/experience
- Capacity to work up to 35 hours per week preferred; part-time requires a firm commitment of at least 3 days weekly
- Flexibility to travel between two to three assigned schools, with schedule customized per candidate preference and skillset
- Capability to manage caseloads ranging from 40–48 students (up to 57 at peak, numbers lower at start of year), serving various age groups from elementary through middle school
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and support services to assigned caseload
- Conduct speech/language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff and families
- Travel between assignments as needed (typically 4 days at one location, 1 day at another)
- Comply with all credentialing requirements, including timely completion of House Bill background check
