School Speech Language Pathologist - Glen Allen, Virginia

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year, January through May, supporting K-12 students in a public school setting. This role involves providing direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students across various ages within the school district.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessment and therapy services to K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support student progress
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and onsite facilitators as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student IEP development processes
  
  

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Virginia SLP license in good standing
• Experience working in school settings with a variety of student caseloads preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  
  

Location:

• Position is based in Glen Allen, VA, serving schools within the Henrico County Public School district. Exact school assignments will be determined.
  
  

Duration

• Contract position for the current school year with an anticipated start date in January and end date by late May.
