Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Glen Allen, Virginia

A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide specialized services in a K-12 educational setting located in Glen Allen, VA. This contract position offers a full school year commitment, supporting students in their communication development and educational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among K-12 students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
• Provide teletherapy services as needed to support remote learners.
• Support pediatric healthcare communication goals where applicable.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience working in educational, healthcare, pediatric, or teletherapy settings.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent field experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with school-based therapy protocols and compliance requirements.
• SLPA experience or certification for assistant roles is a plus.
