Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to a varied student caseload.
- Implement augmentative communication strategies, utilizing both low and high tech systems.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff to foster student progress.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards when handling sensitive information.
- Participate in consultation and other support services as needed within the special education framework.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder Endorsement and/or Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with students with moderate and severe disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with augmentative communication technologies preferred.
- Valid Oregon Drivers License.
- Effective oral and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- May require valid First Aid/CPR certification.
