School Speech Language Pathologist - Bethel Park, Pennsylvania

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is sought for maternity leave coverage in a school setting located in Bethel Park, PA. This onsite position offers the opportunity to support diverse students across two buildings from the start of employment through the end of the school year.

The caseload includes approximately 6 middle school students and about 54 elementary students, including those in life skills and autistic support programs. This role requires delivering targeted speech-language services that promote communication development and enhance educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services tailored to the needs of students with life skills and autistic support requirements
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and update goals
• Maintain thorough documentation, including IEP goal updates and session notes
• Participate in relevant meetings and trainings as required by the school
  
  

Qualifications

• Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly those with communicative and developmental challenges
• Familiarity with life skills and autism support programming preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
