Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy services
- Support students in improving communication skills as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school district policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning effective intervention strategies
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) SLPA license is required
- Ability to complete fingerprinting clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse or provide verification of existing approved prints
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in speech therapy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Availability to work full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week, across assigned school locations
- Primary assignments at Harns Marsh Elementary (2 days/week) and Mirror Lakes Elementary (1 day/week) in Fort Myers, FL
