School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Converse, Texas

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support middle and high school students in San Antonio, TX. This on-site contract position focuses on providing essential speech and language services across two schools, serving a diverse student population ranging from grades 6 through 12.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language support to approximately 110 students split between middle school (grades 6-9) and high school (grades 9-12).
• Manage caseload effectively, attending to 2 days per week at the middle school and 3 days per week at the high school.
• Collaborate with educational staff to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district forms and credentialing requirements.
• Provide services that foster student communication development and academic success.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Active Texas SLPA licensure is required.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working in school settings with children in grades 6-12 is beneficial.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
