School Speech and Language Pathologist | Thibodaux, Louisiana

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available from February 2, 2026, to May 22, 2026, supporting students in grades K-12 with a primary focus on high school-aged children. This contract role is based in a school setting in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to approximately 50 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique communication needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations in speech-language pathology services.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
• Louisiana teaching certification.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) desirable.
• Experience working in school environments preferred, with a focus on K-12 populations.
• Ability to manage caseload independently and effectively.
