School Speech and Language Pathologist | New Britain, Connecticut

A school-based opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide crucial support in delivering speech therapy services for early childhood grades PreK through 2. This position involves working within a single school setting in New Britain, CT, covering a .4 FTE SLP maternity leave on Mondays and Wednesdays or adjusting service hours through an SLPA to assist the current SLP.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy sessions to students in PreK-2 without case management duties.
• Collaborate with the existing SLP and school staff to ensure continuity of services.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Adhere to scheduled therapy days, primarily Monday and Wednesday.
  
  

Qualifications/Experience

• Valid SLPA certification or CCC-SLP credential required.
• Experience working in school-based speech and language settings preferred.
• Ability to effectively deliver individualized speech therapy sessions for early childhood students.
