A skilled Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a contract position supporting a high school student in a school setting near Vancouver, WA, including surrounding areas such as Washougal, WA. This role provides essential one-on-one care during the school day from Monday to Wednesday and Friday, with transportation provided via bus pickup at 7:59 AM and drop-off at 4:15 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized nursing care to a high school student with complex medical needs.
• Manage and administer medications accurately and safely throughout the school day.
• Perform specialized medical procedures including G-Tube feeding and monitoring.
• Conduct catheterizations with attention to hygiene and patient comfort.
• Utilize the Hoyer lift for safe patient transfers.
• Carry out oral and nasal suctioning as needed to maintain airways.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license.
• Experience working in a school setting or providing 1:1 nursing care.
• Proficiency in medication management protocols.
• Skilled in G-Tube feeding and monitoring techniques.
• Familiarity with catheterizations and use of Hoyer lift equipment.
• Ability to perform oral and nasal suctioning confidently and safely.
