A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to provide specialized nursing care for high school students with medical needs in Stevensville, MD for the 2026-2027 school year. This role requires an RN to support students who require constant nursing assistance both during school hours and while traveling to and from school on the bus. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and licensed as a Maryland Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and support to students with documented medical needs during the school day.
- Accompany students on the school bus to and from their home, ensuring their safety and health while in transit.
- Monitor and manage medical conditions, medication administration, and emergency care as necessary.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to deliver consistent and appropriate care.
- Maintain accurate, confidential nursing records and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- Experience working with pediatric or adolescent patients in a school or community setting preferred.
- Ability to remain attentive and responsive in a dynamic school and transportation environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.

Schedule: Full-time (approximately 37 hours per week) during the 2026-2027 school year
