Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student goals
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective support strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other team discussions
- Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for the state of Illinois
- Experience working with K-12 students in school-based settings
- Strong skills in psychological evaluation, assessment tools, and data interpretation
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Professional, adaptable, and proactive approach to addressing student needs
