Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Previous experience in school psychology, especially with elementary-aged children
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks
- Ability to perform evaluations and re-evaluations efficiently
- Comfort working with diverse student populations, including those in specialized support settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations as the main focus
- Partner with teachers and support staff to address student behavioral and academic needs
- Contribute to the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of MTSS interventions
- Provide insights and recommendations for student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Offer consultative support to staff and parents to enhance student success and well-being
